The globe shattered on my Armitage 52" when is fell off the fan last night. It would cost me at least $24 to replace it and it only cost a few bucks more to buy the whole fan again. Lowe's should stock these globes for about $5.

I think we have installed fans in all of our rooms now. The house feels so much cooler when the fans are on and I can turn the thermostat a bit higher and save energy.

I also specify ceiling fans in many of my designs, but most are industrial type applications.

My kitchen currently has a ceiling fan there, but there is no light there. I would like to replace the ceiling fan with a ceiling fan with a light? How easy is is this, and what extra wires need to be already in the wall?

Having a ceiling fan makes a big difference in the summer and, for me, means not using my AC as much. During the spring and fall, I almost always get enough of a breeze by using my ceiling fan.

However, quality matters. I recently bought a cheap ceiling fan that seemed like a good deal, until I installed it and realized I could only really feel the breeze if I was standing right under it. When it comes to ceiling fans, it is better to go with a nicer one.

Harbor Breeze ceiling fans within our home for a number of years because they are perfect! They are well-built, work well, plus have lasted for long periods of time ahead of any kind of maintenance was necessary...
